In the afternoon of May 20th, sponsored by USTB MBA Alumni, Donlinks’ Public Relations Office, the big data and ‘Internet+’ alumni salon was held in Room 1205. Nearly 30 USTB MBA Alumni executive members, Professor Shufen Dai, School’s Secretary of the Party Committee, and Yifang Qin, Director of Public Relations Office attended the event.
The event was beginning at 2 p.m., hosted by Hong Li, alumnus of 99 class, USTB MBA Alumni president, General Manager of Sinosteel Corporation Information Management Center. Hui Li, General Manager of Oracle Software Systems Inc. Big Data Services in China Region, Hongtao Hu, APU Investment Founding Partner, Qingfeng Yang, Research Center Director of The Journal of New Industrialization shared their views.
Mr. Hui Li shared theme as ‘Oracle Big Data’, analyzed including software, hardware, applications, system integration, Cloud and big data framework, and techniques. Mr. Hongtao Hu gave a speech about ‘Big Data in Security Industry’ and illustrated the data growth, facing difficulties and solutions in security industry with cases. Mr. Yang talked around ‘How to Understand the New Technological Revolution and the New Industrial Revolution’, demonstrated the theoretical system of new information technology revolution and the industrial revolution.
This industry alumni salon, got alumni's positive responses and supports. Speakers from different backgrounds shared from various views on applications and development of big data and ‘Internet+’ Industry. The salon lasted for three hours, participants all gained great benefits from today’s event.
This is the second salon since the first investment industry salon, Donlinks will organize more industry theme salons to provide communication and learning opportunities for alumni, and build alumni mutual sharing service platform.
