Program Overview
In 2002, University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) of the U.S. and the USTB jointly developed an EMBA Program with the official approval of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the State Council Academic Degrees Committee.
It has been 20 years since the program was launched, and it has been widely recognized by the society with a more diversified students profile. At present, most of the students are professional managers or entrepreneurs from diversified fields, working for large or small enterprises. The program is also known as the most popular “Career Refill Station” for senior professional managers.
Training Target
Today, with the reshuffle of world economy, China’s economy plays a more important role in the world, and Chinese companies become international rapidly. Among various key resources required for Chinese enterprises, native entrepreneurs and professional managers, who are familiar with international rules of the game and have global strategic insights, are the most precious and valuable assets. Our program is aimed to cultivate competitive leaders to fulfill today’s demand.

Internaitonal Accreditation, MOE Certified Degree
The University of Texas is a prestigious university that has been established for more than a century. It once had seven Nobel Prizes Winners, hundreds of academicians. Its Arlington School of Business is one of the most prestigious business schools in the United States. The school's EMBA program ranks 21st in the world and 16th in the United States (CEO magazine 2018). Both parties of the USTB-UTA EMBA Program are accredited by AACSB, which represents the great achievement of a business school. The students receive EMBA degree from UTA. This degree is validated by MOE and certified by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange (CSCSE) of the Ministry of Education.
Global Alumni Network
As one of the largest China-US cooperative EMBA programs in China at present, the alumni networks of our USTB-UTA EMBA Program expand quickly since its launch in 2002, reaching nearly 2000 alumni during 19 years, and all of our alumni are elites and successful ones in various industries. Among the students, there are not only a large number of foreign enterprise elites from the world's top 500 companies, but also many senior managers of large state-owned key enterprises. Every student of the program will automatically become the lifelong alumni of University of Texas and the USTB and enjoy the same honor and services in these two schools.
Chinese and English Bilingual Teaching by Outstanding Teachers
The professors from UTA have PhD degrees from prestigious universities and they are well-known in their research and teaching fields. Many of them served as part-time consultants in global 500 companies, having rich practical experiences of management and enterprise resources. In addition to the strong academic achievements, they published many monographs, many of which are textbooks and classic teaching materials in the USA and the world. Instructors from UTA directly provide students with authentic local business management knowledge and best practical experiences; meanwhile, faculty members from USTB teaching in this program provide lectures well reflecting the China's current hot-spot topics. The aim of our program is to create high-level talents with international perspectives and cross-cultural management capabilities.
